Saints Clinch 1st Round Bye

The New Orleans Saints, already winners of the NFC South Division, clinched the NFC's second first round bye when the Dallas Cowboys were defeated by the Philadelphia Eagles. The Saints will host the Carolina Panthers in Week 16 and try to avenge their sole divisional loss.

The Saints are currently the No. 1 Offense in the NFL, averaging 397.8 yard per game.

The Saints opted to rest Brees for the Playoffs, and played backup Jamie Martin. He threw for over 200 yards, but the Saints trailed for most of the game and ended up conceding a meaningless game to the Panthers.
