Keane Resurface

Keane are set to drop their sophomore album, Under The Iron Sea, on June 20th in the US.

The guitarless Britpop trio from Battle, East Sussex, England had an auspicious debut at home and abroad with 2004's Hope & Fears. Here in the States their piano-driven alt-pop sound got airplay on modern rock, pop, and adult contemporary stations alike. We'll see if they continue to ride this wave of success in the US market. I'm curious whether they will expand their sound and pehaps tour as more than just a three-piece this time around.

The first single off the new record, Is It Any Wonder, is available on iTunes now, and will hit UK record stores on May 30th.
